Liron & Rio-The Live Drum Solo (for dancers and drummers): Whether choreographed or improvisational, a live energetic drum solo is the highlight of any show. Learning how to connect dynamically with your co-performer is essential to creating the perfect vibe of energy to play off of each other. Students, whether drummers or dancers, will learn common methods of outlining a solo for a dancer, as well as typical cues, leads, and signals to communicate with each other. Each will learn an individual way of envisioning sounds, tones, accents, pops, slides, and rolls in the body to create your own original vocabulary of movement, and how to write/compose your own custom drum solo as a dancer.
Liron Peled - teach drumming of any level as well as throat singing, together we do a drum solo workshop, and where applicable my classes would be accompanied by him playing live.
